Frequently Asked Questions...

Q: Will I need a partner to do the techniques?

A: Yes, you will need a partner to assist you in going through the techniques, this could be family member, friend, colleague
etc. This will help your teaching ability, under-standing and will give them some valuable tools in personal safety and self defence. You could consider doing the course with your partner?

Q: What do I get at the end of the course?

A: On completion of the course you have the option to take the 'Instructors Assessment Exam' which is all completed online or you can just benefit from all the information you have received as a Self Defence Pro member. If you are already teaching Self Defence in some form or have a Martial Arts qualification this information will really help you become much more successful.

We teach you how to become a successful freelance Self Defence Instructor.

The assessment exam is a short series of questions pertaining to the content of the lessons and teaching Self Defence and a practical video assessment of you teaching one of the techniques we show you. You can load this to You Tube or similar or send in a video or disc to us. Again, this is all explained in the lessons you receive.

Q: How do I get the 'Instructors Certificate'?

A: This is all explained on the Self defence Pro course, if you choose to take the assessment it is all explained online in easy to grasp video and written format. The assessment costs £24.99

Q: Can you provide Insurance for Self Defence?

A: We can provide Instructor Indemnity Insurance for £2m, £5m and £10m depending on your requirements in UK only. If you reside outside the UK you should look into insurance requirements before purchasing the programme (see below). Our Insurance Broker specifically insures the Fox Force Self Defence System. To obtain insurance and certification through us you will need to pass the online instructor assessment at the end of the course.

Q: Are there any "hidden costs" in addition to my membership fees?

A: NO. You may wish to invest in local marketing to promote your classes and this is entirety at your discretion.

Q: Does my membership include personal coaching?

A: Unfortunately, the answer is "no". We will however answer any technical questions about downloading the lessons etc.

Q: Do I have to commit to the entire 12 months?

A: Of course not. While I don't think you'll want to do so, you may cancel anytime you want. You may either email me through the Contact Us link to the above left of this page or PayPal directly for a prompt and courteous cancellation. I don't think you'll want to do so after diving in to the training and seeing how useful it is!

Q: Will I need First Aid?

A: Although Fox Force is safe, you must not forget the nature of the activity and as always be professional and ready for anything! We recommend you get a basic First Aid Certificate that will cover you for administering basic first aid until further assistance is available. Carrying a travel First Aid kit with you in your bag / car will keep you prepared for minor eventualities.

Q: Can I teach Fox Force Self Defence to children?

A: Fox Force Self Defence must not be taught to children under 16 years of age. There are particular elements and techniques that require maturity and understanding and therefore not suitable for children under this age. Children's self defence is covered in our BullyCoach system.

Q: Can I teach Fox Force Self Defence in another country?

A: Yes, we have instructors all over the world teaching the system. Army personnel, United Nations employees, personal trainers and hundreds more all using the Fox Force System around the world, helping everyday people in their communities feel safe and confident. It is important to check any requirements and legalities pertaining to your individual country of residence.
